Seriously, they are just the pièce de résistance of the MM romance world and I will always be here for that duo! I just really enjoyed The Best Men。 It gave me everything I was looking for to help me get over all the heartbreaking books I have been reading。 Low angst, humor, and all the sexy times you can handle this book will just make you feel good。 。。。more

Mild spoilers ahead。。。Asher's reaction when he first saw Mark's fantasies spreadsheet? Priceless! They were hilarious as they worked their way through the various cells, by column and row。Both Mark and Asher had depth to their characters that wasn't readily apparent。 The story was funny, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and ultimately oh-so-satisfying。 I have a book hangover from this one。 Mild spoilers ahead。。。Asher's reaction when he first saw Mark's fantasies spreadsheet? Expectations for Sarina Bowen are ways super high。 So super disappointed here。 This is no Him, no Understatement of the Year and no Top Secret (all incredible reads)。 This was boring, shallow and disappointing。 Total miss for me

Mark, a handsome, nerdy single dad who has resigned himself to the single life, meets Asher, a gorgeous, sexy photographer who is kind of a hot mess。 This is not an enemies to lovers trope。 It's more of sometimes love blossoms in the most unlikely way。 Mark and Asher definitely do give spreadsheets a whole different spin。 😏 Mark, a handsome, nerdy single dad who has resigned himself to the single life, meets Asher, a gorgeous, sexy photographer who is kind of a hot mess。 This is not an enemies to lovers trope。 It's more of sometimes love blossoms in the most unlikely way。 Mark and Asher definitely do give spreadsheets a whole different spin。 😏 。。。more

Great intro to the characters。 Middle of the story kind of dragged and slowed。 Picked up at the end。 Almost felt like it was trying to hard in parts。

Good StoryI really liked this book。 Asher and Mark were a great couple。 I liked that they were pretty open with each other and made a seemingly impossible relationship work。

Freaking loved everything about this book。The authors nailed it。 Absolutely NAILED it。 And the narrators? Everyone knows I have a soft spot for Teddy。 When you put him with Jacob, I'm basically jelly。 Freaking loved everything about this book。The authors nailed it。 Absolutely NAILED it。 And the narrators? 2。5Enjoyed their banter but this was something I've read before, a predictable storyline。 Stilll enjoyable to a point tho。 Skimmed most of the heavy sex scenes because they got really old real fast。 2。5Enjoyed their banter but this was something I've read before, a predictable storyline。 Stilll enjoyable to a point tho。 Skimmed most of the heavy sex scenes because they got really old real fast。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This was a very enjoyable read by two authors who consistently deliver quality stories。 I was very excited to see them collaborating on this, and it was a fun read, but not a home run for me。 The main characters had great chemistry, and once they admitted their attraction it was off to the races。 I do have an issue with this being billed as an enemies-to-lovers romance。 They never really felt like enemies to me, and it was hard to even put my finger on the basis for their mild dislike。 While I w This was a very enjoyable read by two authors who consistently deliver quality stories。 I was very excited to see them collaborating on this, and it was a fun read, but not a home run for me。 The main characters had great chemistry, and once they admitted their attraction it was off to the races。 I do have an issue with this being billed as an enemies-to-lovers romance。 They never really felt like enemies to me, and it was hard to even put my finger on the basis for their mild dislike。 While I was glad that things heated up between them pretty quickly, it didn’t seem like much of a challenge to overcome their enmity (likely because, again, they weren’t really enemies)。 I think the beginning of the book would have been more successful for me if it hadn’t been shoehorned into a trope that didn’t really fit。 Another complaint is the secondary storyline about Mark’s sister and Flip。 The way it was written, it often felt like I was already supposed to be familiar with their story, so I kept wondering if there was a book I’d missed。 I also twisted myself into pretzels trying to figure out Hannah’s pregnancy timeline。 She found out she was pregnant “a few weeks ago,” announced the pregnancy “a few weeks ago” as well, but she has a baby bump that is large enough to merit multiple mentions? Im sure there’s a feasible explanation, but again, it felt like I’d missed a novella, at least。 As for the rest of the book, it was hot and funny and I enjoyed the opposites-attract elements like the sex spreadsheet。 。。。more

The Cutest Romance for the Best MenI picked this up thinking it would be a nice and light, fun read when I was feeling restless and unable to just settle on a book。 And it was all of the above, but it was also more and I was pleasantly shook by how much I adored it; this book just made me happy!Asher the mega rich, super suave, stupid hot ex athlete with floofy hair and golden retriever energy, and Mark the nerdy cute mathematical superhero, banker/trader with the buttoned up secret sexy beast e The Cutest Romance for the Best MenI picked this up thinking it would be a nice and light, fun read when I was feeling restless and unable to just settle on a book。 And it was all of the above, but it was also more and I was pleasantly shook by how much I adored it; this book just made me happy!Asher the mega rich, super suave, stupid hot ex athlete with floofy hair and golden retriever energy, and Mark the nerdy cute mathematical superhero, banker/trader with the buttoned up secret sexy beast energy are so flipping adorable together I had my aww face on the whole time。 Their fun, flirty banter put a buzz in my blood and a big smile on my face。 They were also delightfully, spine tinglingly filthy together。 The nicknames! The drunk texts! They were like, couple goals。 We see their sexy awkward but shimmery tension at the start then the wedding shenanigans and Mark’s challenges as a single parent and Asher’s past self image issues, but I wish we got just a smidge more of his background。 Anyhoo, I didn’t care about it all that much and their mutual grand gestures at the end just had me swooning all over my couch。 Also, there’s just something about New York City hotshots living their best life in fiction that soothes my middle class American dream heart for some reason。 。。。more

I love love loved this book。 The banter was so fun, the men were hot, and the story was so sweet。 Asher was a DREAM!! I have no other words for how amazing that man was。 He was so sweet to Mark and even though he was smug at times it just made him more loveable to me。 Then Mark, oh sweet sweet boy Mark。 His love for his child and his loyalty to his family was so beautiful it made my heart full。 I love that this book highlighted how hard it is to be a single parent and recent divorcé。 The balance I love love loved this book。 The banter was so fun, the men were hot, and the story was so sweet。 Asher was a DREAM!! She was so cute and understanding of his situation。 She was sad to see her parents separated but accepted Asher with open arms。 I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a lighthearted steamy read because it was a perfect read to get me out of my slump! 。。。more

Am I in love?Yes。Because, oh my goodness, this was fun。 ⏩Yes, I know, they had to have an actual human being on the cover page。 But nobody is perfect。 Except for this book, apparently。 ⏩The Best Men by two wonderful women aka Lauren and Sarina have my ENTIRE heart。 ⏩It all started when I fell face first in love on the first line itself。 Sounds like a stretch but it isn't。 ⏩Asher St。 James, my man。 Because; footballer? Him we can definitely hate。 ⏩"THE ECLAIRS ARE SO GOOD HERE", babe you're in Paris of course they are。 ⏩"I volunteer as tribute", get in line Asher St。 James, Mark is mine。 ⏩I would never forgive the authors for taking me on a whole roller coaster ride like that。 ⏩Mark & Asher gave me impossibly high standards。 I am a sucker for men in love like that in general but this is a whole new level。 ⏩I mean, they're both very hot so I'm not to blame right? ⏩On the negative side the conflicts were way too workable。 And it made the ending look sappy but I don't think I'll trade it for anything。 I'd get myself a copy asap if I were you! 。。。more

Dunno。) The characters seemed rather two-dimensional in the beginning, it didn't seem like their perspectives changed all that much, and Asher really got on my nerves (I blame Mark for that one)。 Either way, once we got past that point, I really began to enjoy this story。 I was hooked on everything, I wanted more, and I didn't want it to end。 The intimacy was sexy and beautiful, the character development was perfect, and the timing was so good! This was one of those books that's set over several months and actually feels like it's set over several months。If you're just getting into this book and aren't really vibing it in the beginning, my advice is to give it until the 30% mark and if you're still not into it - DNF it。 There are too many books and too little time to read something you're not enjoying, but I love these authors and couldn't not give it a chance。 。。。more

Loved every second of it! These characters were honest with themselves, had incendiary chemistry and bantah, and just an all around great connection。 This exceeded my already high-ish expectations because it’s a Sarina Bowen novel。 This book has some of my favorite tropes too: enemies(ish)/strangers to lovers, single parent, first queer relationship ship, confidence(!), (former) athlete, and Paris(?)。 Minus the absurd wealth, everything was more or less realistic in how they approached each othe Loved every second of it! 4。5 stars。 Mark and Asher were a great couple。 I loved all the characters in this book, the sister, the kids, everyone。 I’m not a huge fan of Ron-com books so I wasn’t sure going into this, but it’s a perfect mix of funny and serious and not over the top。 I really did enjoy the progression of their relationship and the ending。 Very good read。
